A massively bombastic and ambitiously overblown effort from Garden of Shadows. Featuring ultra-guttural vocals spliced with exquisitely woven guitar melodic, doom-laden passages, this is emotional Death Metal in the vein of the equally overblown Septic Flesh. Lenghty, epic and mystical, this contains enough brutality to please trad Death Metallers, but enough intricacy and melody to please more highbrow fans, bringing together the best elements of My Dying Bride and Suffocation together in one unusual, but awesomely original package.
