Epic and majestic black metal from the frozen Russian capital. This 2007 album is still the only relase from this two man group to date though we can only hope for more in the future as although it is heavily inspired by Burzum in terms of songwriting it holds a certain atmosphere no doubt due to its geographical heritage and that of it's memebers who have been involved with the Russian greats of Temnozor and Blazebirth Hall luminaries Forest and Nitberg.

When looking to the recent offerings from Agalloch, Wodensthrone, Winterfylleth and Altar Of Plagues one can definitely see a root stemming from this stunning offering.
