Ever since My Dying Bride gave up on the avantgarde path they have produced album after album of near perfect British Doom / Death in the vein that they helped forge and popularise along with Paradise Lost and Anathema. Although this is the last album to feature original bassist Ade Jackson, it is by no means a sd end to his legacy, well I suppose it is as it's My Dying Bride and Doom and Gloom is pretty much their raison d'etre but you get what I mean. Another essential album in an already weighty and quality filled discography.
