Originally though on CD already back in 2008, though all the time planned for a proper vinyl release between Eisenwald and Eternity Records, "Bleak" never archived the fame it deserved. Now the wait is finally over and Eisenwald are more than proud to present this double LP with newly re-arranged layout and packaging plus the Isolation vocals have been re-recorded and improved, specifically for this pressing!

Austere continue to excel delivering stronger songs, further developed than what could be heard on the debut and split material with Lyrinx, music with a deep melancholic longing but incorporating clean vocals with their depressive black metal as well.
Isolation offer some very moody and experimental tracks continuing to develop their own Blackend Doom identity. Overall this split still stands for tracks of bleak, cold and sorrowful moments !

Call it Dark Metal, Depressive or Melancholic, it just delivers an excellent atmosphere !
