Possibly one of the classiest and most mellow records Earache has ever putout, albeit via the eclectic Elitist imprint. While Wolverine ooze laid backclass, their take on progressive rock has a distinctly sinister edgehowever, especially lyrically. Although the music straddles the dividebetween the likes of Pain of Salvation and latter day Queensryche, its themelancholic, impassioned vocal style that sets this up as 'A' list material.Overall this is quality songwriting and playing, with a dark edge that seepsinto the brain and remains memorable long after the disc has finished.You'll be humming these tunes for weeks..........
