That these guys can play is beyond question. That they are among the finest Death Metal bands out there is well known. But no-one can have expected this. 'The Negation' is sonically and musically the way Death Metal needs to go.. Crystal clean production, inventive riffs and an unbelievable standard of musicianship puts them way up at the top of the tree. Yes Nile are great, so are Cryptopsy and Behemoth and Dying Fetus, but none can match the pinpoint precision of Decapitated. Morbid Angel and Deicide need not give up the crown yet - but we bet that they're looking nervously over their shoulders as 'The Negation' bites on their heels.
