Here, Mortiis develops the Electro-industrial sound he brought to the forefront with ‘The Smell Of Rain’. Taking cues from legendary trailblazers of the electronic darkwave movement, such as Skinny Puppy, Nine Inch Nails & Ministry. All the songs on the album have their subject matters drawn from an eclectic mix of inspirations, emotions and personal experience. "The songs sound a lot more certain of themselves and all around it is a lot harsher, a lot heavier.
