This limited edition double 12" gatefold LP is the original pressing of Scorn's classic album, "Evanescence". They are not sealed but have been stored well and are in near mint condition!

While all around them Napalm Death, Carcass, Morbid Angel, Bolt Thrower, Entombed et al were releasing albums of crushing, intensity, fury and horror founding Napalm Death member Nick Bullen and recently departed Napalm Death drummer Mick Harris teamed together to create a sublime body of work that shimmered amongst the darkness.

Of their 6 Earache albums 'Evanescence' is regarded as their break through and even featured in Terrorizers 100 Best Albums of the 1990's.

Building on the duos love of downtempo/industrial and ambient music this was by no means a happy ride through the darker side of the electronic music scene, rather the textured layers bring on a tranquil lulling of the senses as one relaxes into a pleasurable nigh comatic state.
