'Blown Away (94-04)' 2 x CD tracklisting announced
The UK's most extreme Industrial-cyber-techno pioneers Ultraviolence release a 'best of and rare' retrospective 2 x Cd set on December 6th entitled 'Blown Away (94-04)', featuring 30 tracks culled from the bands 10 year career at the forefront of the UK Industrial-cyber-techno scene.
Disc 1 highlights the evolution of the Ultraviolence sound with selections from all 4 of the albums, most of which have become 'standards' on the Cyber/Industrial dancefloors of the Uk and beyond.
Disc 2 is a collection of the remixes Ultraviolence has made for other notable artists, as well as rare remixes of Ultraviolence tracks by others, plus a couple of brand new tracks, which are unavailable elsewhere. Mainman Johnny V has written extensive liner notes to round out the package, and make it the definitive summary of the Ultraviolence sound 1994-2004.
Having toured with such diverse artists as Moby, Cubanate and Exploited in the past, Ultraviolence promote the release with a spate of Uk gigs throughout November and December, including a just-announced London appearance at The Electro Workz (pre-Slimelight show) on 11th December. Support on this show comes from The Ping-Pong Bitches, fresh from contributing vocals on the new Prodigy album.
