Earache gives away 5000 FREE 'Thrash Is King' T-shirts in Hammer mag from HMV stores.
Earache produced some 'Thrash is King' promotional T-shirts to  give to journalists in London recently and since then the out of print shirts have been spotted out on the streets, causing a buzz among the growing ranks of thrash fanatics.

BIOMECHANICAL AND EVILE TO PLAY FREE SHOW AT FOPP RECORDS
UK metalheads Biomechanical will team up with fast rising thrashers Evile for a free show at Fopp Records flagship London store in Tottenham Court Road on April 30.
Entry to the event, while free, is strictly limited on a first-come first-served basis, and will kick off at 7pm at the store, at 220 - 224 Tottenham Court Road, London, W1T 7PZ (0207 299 1640).

Each band will play a special set. Biomechanical are fresh off their support tour with 3 Inches of Blood and now working on their new opus 'Cannibalised', while Evile are preparing to record their debut album 'Ente the Grave' with producer Flemming Rasmussen.

EARACHE RECORDS MUSIC TO KICK OFF PREMIER EPISODE OF RADIUM
Former SOCIETY 1 front man Matt Zane, in conjunction with porn juggernaut Pleasure Productions, is launching a unique porn series entitled Radium, which will feature the latest metal videos, band interviews, and loads of hot and heavy porn!
Radium will feature Pleasure Productions starlet and Kentucky native, Tera Wray, as host of the Radium series. Tera Wray will be interviewing metal’s hottest up-and-coming acts, play a diverse mix of new metal videos, and address all things metal – culturally, musically and sexually. Jared Anderson RIP
Earache Records would like to express its condolences to the family and friends of Jared Anderson who passed away on October 14.
Jared made a lasting impression on the Earache catalogue with his contribution to the Hate Eternal album 'King of All Kings', as well as his masterful live performances with the band, a feat he was to repeat with equal class when fronting Morbid Angel after the departure of Steve Tucker.
Earache label manager Dan Tobin commented on Anderson's passing:
'I think Erik Rutan has pretty much said it all when it comes to expressing the regret and shock at Jared's passing. I only met the guy a couple of times when he came through the UK with Morbid Angel, but he struck me as a thoughtful and dedicated musician who was able to take on the challenges presented to him by both Hate Eternal and Morbid Angel. Particularly with Morbid Angel, he won over fans with his wholehearted commitment to the music and also the fans of the music. The response from the fans to the news of his death only goes to prove the positive impression he made on people.'

AT THE GATES LIMITED PICTURE LP RELEASE ANNOUNCED
The all-time classic ‘Slaughter Of The Soul’ from Swedish death-metallers At The Gates is being released as a Limited Picture LP throughout the UK and Europe on October 16th. This exclusive vinyl release (1500 copies) contains timelessly brutal tracks taken from the original 1995 record plus six added tracks, as yet unreleased on vinyl.
This limited edition picture LP serves as a memorial to the band’s legendary power-fuelled, raw sound, which became the blueprint for Swedish Death Metal. With original artwork designed by Kristian Wahlin this release is a definite collectors item.

Earache Extreme Metal Racing Playstation 2 videogame trailer now online
You can now catch a glimpse of the final trailer for Earache Records’ forthcoming videogame online. ‘Earache Extreme Metal Racing’ is due to be released in the UK and Europe on November 3rd on PlayStation 2, PSP and PC and is set to take the videogaming world by storm.
The game features ten evil Earache racing teams battling it out on a torturous track that takes the wicked racers into the depths of hell and beyond. The teams you can drive around the 4 satanically-inspired levels include Mortiis, Deicide, Morbid Angel, Akercocke, Decapitated, Biomechanical, Municipal Waste, The Berzerker, Linea77 and Society 1.

For the first time this game introduces the world of video gaming to the genre of extreme metal head on, as fans will simultaneously be able to race their favourite artists whilst doing battle to over 3 hours of Earache’s most annihilating releases. EARACHE'S LEGENDARY 1989 GRINDCRUSHER TOUR PHOTOS NOW ONLINE
You can now access online dozens of pictures of some of Earache’s most groundbreaking bands as they played on the legendary 1989 Grindcrusher tour.
These photos are taken from a mind-blowing gig at Bradford St George’s Hall on November 15th 1989 and feature classic shots of Morbid Angel, Bolt Thrower, Carcass and Napalm Death.

The discovery of these amazing live shots provides an insightful glimpse into the beginnings of the worldwide grindcore scene, and displays some of the true masters of the genre in legendary form.

FREE DOWNLOADABLE ALBUM IN MEMORY OF JESSE PINTADO
To honour the passing of the long-term recording artist Jesse Pintado, Earache Records is offering a free downloadable mp3 album. The album entitled ‘In Memory Of Jesse Pintado’ features some of Jesse’s most well-known songs recorded during his time as guitarist for both Napalm Death and Terrorizer.

The sad news of Jesse’s death in hospital in Holland on Sunday August 27th 2006 has shocked fans throughout the world, and this album serves as our small tribute to the outstanding music he created during his career.

Earache label manager Dan Tobin had the following to say about Jesse’s sudden death:
‘Jesse was one of the most genuine people I ever met, extremely friendly and easy-going. Its such a tragic waste. I’ll remember him as part of what is my all time favourite Earache record, Terrorizer’s ‘World Downfall’, which is simply a grindcore masterpiece, and for all his amazing work with Napalm Death that I was honoured to be a small part of. I don’t think Jesse’s passing has been recognised as the huge loss it is – the worlds of extreme music and grindcore/death metal have lost a true pioneer. On June 12, the UK's Metal Hammer magazine will be holding their fourth annual Metal Hammer Golden Gods awards in London. As an integral part of the ceremony, EARACHE'S EXTREME METAL RACING will be unveiled and exhibited during awards ceremony and will apex with a rousing tournament between Lordi, an audience member and the winner of a pre-determined contest.

Earache bands ANATA, SEVERE TORTURE and MUNICIPAL WASTE all performed over the weekend at the Maryland Deathfest in Baltimore, Maryland. The festival was a success and featured many of death metal's envelope pushing acts blazing a variety of metal mayhem over two amazing days.
Making a rare US appearance, ANATA and SEVERE TORTURE graced the stage with technical prowess and were subsequently interviewed by Angela Davis of Skull Crusher/Metal Attack radio (Check out http://www.waif883.org for upcoming interview details), set to air on Friday, June 2nd. ANATA are slated to release their forthcoming album, "The Conductors Departure" on 8/22, which promises to possess epic technicality coupled to earth shattering ferocity.
