The highly anticipated new album "Revealed and Worshipped" is out Monday 19th July (UK & Europe)
On Monday 19th July you'll finally be able to buy "Revealed And Worshipped" the brand new album by the Swedish Death Metal killing machine we fondly call INSISION
'Revealed and Worshipped' was produced by Nasum's Mieszko Talarczyk, the album features 11 tracks of ferocious Death Metal and is once again characterized by conceptual lyrics from frontman Carl Birath, backed by some truly manic tunes, which goes to show why various parties in the media are asking if  they are the new future of death metal.
This is what Kerrang's writer Nick Ruskell had to say "This is the sound of something truly emotional and spiritual being forcibly wrenched from a band of eccentric characters, and channelled  through the medium of ferociously extreme music ..... mad, yet utterly compelling." 4/5
From Metal Hammer's Joel McIver " Insision and their colleagues are the sound of the future of death metal. It's time to wake up." 8/10
The full tracklisting runs as follows:
01. No Belief
02. Imminent Vision
03. We Did Not Come To Heal
04. Revealed And Worshipped
05. The Unrest
06. Grotesque Plague Mass
07. The Foul Smell Of Humans
08 . In The Gallows
09. The Cleansing
10. Havoc
11. Ideas Of Revolution

INSISION STUDIO REPORT 2004 Part 1
Direct from Sound Lab Studio, Sweden
Arriving early….
After arriving one day in advance and the regular load in of drums, guitars, amps and other handy equipment is over, we check out our sleeping quarters. An apartment located in some small, shitty and sleepy suburb somewhere in Orebro. Still, a perfect flat with all the essentials. A fridge for beer and meat, a TV and somewhere to sleep. Dark and damp. Perfect.
Entering Sound Lab
4th of March
While rigging the 'Daun-kit' Mr Mieszko (our sound engineer and technician for this ride) and Thomas began sorting out what kind of sound we should have. After finding the right approach and sound we’re ready to fire this shit up! Thomas having no problems, started blasting like berserk and just letting it all go behind the drums. Really punishing the drums to the maximum (putting it all down in an impressive two days). This looks promising indeed.

The overall sound is enormous. Tom’s and B-drum bombarding you whilst the snare drum shreds you to pieces as the blast beats come and go.
Still, this time around we focus a lot on all the heavy and more groovy parts, and to put it in three words, its; Heavy As Lead
6th of March
After the morning coffee and a 'go-through' of the drums for some last adjustments its axe-ing time! Finding the right angle and sound approach for the guitars is always demanding but well worth waiting for.

Later this afternoon Roger hits the first tune on the neck breaker; ‘The Foul Smell of Humans’ as Toob is warming up with Daniel. A smile on everyone's face as the first guitars are tried out. Arrrgh!
Its time to roll…. Rock and fucking roll!
This monster has just been woken up…
Over and out

INSISION STUDIO REPORT 2004 Part 2
It's alive…....
Insision have just completed the recording of their new album in Sound Lab studios, Sweden, and vocalist Carl Birath just sent us this update on how it all went...
Things are coming around. Roger And Toob are putting the guitar works down at a raging speed. In between, Toob is working on some guitar slings between takes. And Roger is working out some of the upcoming solo parts.
This one is even tougher than we expected. After laying down four days of guitar rhythm tracks it looks positive and impressive

But now - it’s screaming time!!
This time around we asked old singer Johan Thornberg to help out with some backing vocals on a track or two, merely just for the fun of it (as a past member and a good friend), and just as planned it all goes smoothly.

80% of the vocals were done at night time and with no complications whatsoever. Me focusing on more variation but without losing the Death Metal sound of Insision and the feeling of the lyrics. No major changes but still….different.

After some solid work behind the microphone its resting time for me and the last vocal day turns to night and the boys are getting ready for some solo works. The night shift goes on and it’s a fucking marathon race against the clock. With some help from all of us present it turns out pretty twisted and personal indeed.
Mixing day is approaching at a raging speed and all goes well and the outcome is more than well worth waiting for….A more thought-through and more focussed Insision album is now at hand and as Mieszko is fighting his way through the complex sound one song after another we are slowly planning which song that will start off the album and witch one will end it all. The last evening is ended with plenty of good whiskey and some good laughs….
A thank goes out to Mr Mieszko for all the great help in the studio. Cheers !!!!

Be prepared….

Over and out

Going under the working title 'Revealed and Worshipped', the album is shaping up to be one of the most violent Death Metal releases for some time, and will again feature a conceptual theme from the warped mind of frontman Carl Birath.

A release date of June looks likely, with tour dates to follow.

"MY FEVER" Video now on www.earache.com...
Just when you thought it was safe to go back online Swedish brutalizers INSISION have completed work on their first ever video. Culled from 2002's 'Beneath The Folds Of Flesh', 'My Fever' is a slice of INSISION at their feral best.
INSISION mainman Carl is quick to scotch any rumours that the band are veering away from the savagery that so impressed on their European treks last year:
"This video is dark, damp and full of aggression, definitely not a video with girls, fake fangs and fancy capes. This is DEATH METAL brutality and once you take your seat, this ride won't fucking stop..."
'Nuff said. In related news, INSISION have booked in Soundlab Studios in March to begin work on the new album...

Exclusive German tour report
Getting in the air…
After getting up at a really silly time in the morning to catch the bus to Skavsta, we are now at the bloody airport and in the usual “Insision-manner” we get fucked at first arrival. There is something with Insision and Airports that is not really healthy all. With an Amp too much and a hell of a lot of Merchandise we get busted at the check-in.

Well, too much Over weight on the luggage and 300€ in fine’s later we are at least on the plain and on our way To Lubeck/ Hamburg.
At the Airport (!!!) in Lubeck The fuck-over continues with some trouble with the airport-car-rental-company whom are supposed to rent us a car. 600€ in depositions later we are at last on our way to Halle. Not in a particularly good mood.

After arriving and getting something to eat we inspect the place. It’s an occupied house “owned” by some cool ppl with good taste in music and is run totally independent which is cool.
Watching Infected Brain a bit. Kind of ok Death Metal, but they must have the longest set I ever heard a demo-band have. He he, I think it did not end even after 45 min and after the first 20min things started to get really monotonous and that did not really do anything for them and not for the audience either. Well, a bit thin audience this Thursday night by the way. Anyway, while the Infected Brains are playing I’m checking the merchandise, which isn’t really going any good this evening.
Tired as fuck we get on stage and do what we came to do. Get in, kill the audience, and get out! Simply in one word: Dominate!
Despite the low numbers in the crowd we give a 110% and does a great job moshing and stomping around on stage and giving them a show to remember. We start of With Trapped Within and goes straight on to Before My Altar after a short presentation. After that we try out one of the new songs “The Foul Smell of Humans” which really kick major ass!! Also other new songs on this time’s set-list are; “Immanent Vision” and “No Belief” also 2 bone-crushing tunes to totally go berserk to.
23 October
Halle/ Ludwigsstrasse37
Insision + Infected Bran (Ger)

Germans are really something else then the other audience we played wit earlier. After each song they scream like hell and then just stop abruptly and there is a really strange silence… But I guess it’s the way it’s done here… even if the crowd was a bit thin we got to do an extra tune on the audience request.
After the gig I check the merchandise again and can see that it’s starting to get better. Maybe things will turn around and we hit the bar!!
Party until 3 in the morning and after realizing I’ve been up for about 26h in a row I gave in for the tiredness that slowly was creeping upon me.. Having a dreamless sleep until 10 a clock the next morning when Breakfast was served.

24 October
Bamsberg/Pödeldorf
Insision+Sinners Bleed +A-Team + More then Fear

This Gig was suppose to be at the JUZ in Bamberg in Bayern. But was just the day before the actual date moved to a smaller society 20 km outside Bamberg due to some problems with the local government. Really strange that they was to have problems just this time when they have been having so many other metal events at the JUZ without having any government poking about and throwing spanners in the works. Our guess is that it probably was some Christian moron- mentality that was involved in some way. Coming with stupid laws and shit just to not let this music forward. The thing with the gig moving in such a sort notice worried us a bit as I know ppl are having problems getting there. After arriving to the place (PJ’s Rock bar) and saying hello to some Hillbilly farmers sitting joddling in the bar we had the long wait for the rest of the back-line to arrive. This place looked quite cool. After A few beers and coffee some of the other bands started to show up. After short inspection of the stage I realize it’s going to be poor on the lights but that don’t matter as long as there is going to be a crowd. As the Back line arrived late we didn’t get a sound check but was pleased with a line check when getting on.
First Band on stage this night was More then Fear. A thrash Metal band, which unfortunately had bad luck with the sound. Really bad all the way and the sound-engineer was more on stage then the actual band themselves, pulling and fixing all the shit that was going wrong. Next act was A-Team a Grind-Core Thrash act, sounding a bit like Nasum from time to time. Really Ok stuff.

After this the band Sinners Bleed was supposed to get on stage but after some shit in the backstage area one of them had a severe nosebleed. I thought they should go on anyway. I mean, fucking great with a nose-bleed, bleeding all over the stage.. I mean DEATH FUCKING METAL man! Anyway as it seemed he couldn’t get up at that point, so we decided to get on now, instead of later. Did an excellent Job even this time and got to do an extra song this evening as well. Fucking crappy sound on stage thou.
The mike had to be changed but we did a 110% anyway. I was talking to Sinners Bleed afterwards and they said we had a great sound outwards but on stage we didn’t hear shit… Aahh well.
But no need to be bad just because you got crappy equipment surrounding you. Pedal To the metal… buuuuurn!!!
After hitting the bar we mingled a bit with the once that had showed up this night.. Had a good time and meet some really cool ppl. Was looking at Sinners Bleed and I mean this shit was GOOD.. Absolutely something I recommend to check out..
After staying up till 5 this night we slept at some girls place and got a marvellous breakfast and even if it was short, a good nights sleep.

25 October
Ludwigshafen Death Fest – Das House
Disavowed (Nl), Insision (swe), Human Mincer
(Esp), Despondency (D), Ambrossia (Sch) +More

After getting from Bamberg (which took about a millennium itself) and unto the Autobahn a bit in a haste we got to Ludwigshafen. After we finally got the gear in place and merchandise in order we got a bit free time. Still all very tired and not in any mood to talk to each other we split up to check out our surroundings. Lots of ppl around and a good feeling of the crowd. With the clock showing 2 in the afternoon and the first band already started we hit the Insision Merchandise-stand awaiting the food and beverages.
Did some Interviews with both some local zines and a Swiss one. With almost 10 h to kill we got some good rest and some nice chats with the ppl who was there. Watching some of the bands performing we where getting ready to enter the stage after watching Spawn Of Possession.
Went on stage about 11.00 and started of in the usual manner. Blasting our way through several songs. As we where getting closer to the end of the set we came around to one of the new tracks, titled No Belief. This one kicks of really cool and really gets the blood boiling only to add another dimension to the already on driven frenzy. Grinding our way through this one we came upon SadoGod and the whipping began, ending up with leaving some of the lyrical stuff for some self-flogging to reinforce to feeling on stage…
After leaving in a rumble we got to go on again to end the session with Ex Oblivion. Leaving the stage to make room for the last band of this Death-night, Disavowed, we hit the merchandise stand again to talk to and greet the ppl around.
After closing the merchandise stand about 2 this night we put an end this mini tour with an all well deserved after-party with the rest of the bands and fans of this music. Ending up in a daze on the night train to hell!

All our cheers and hailz go’s out to the arrangers and fans that welcomed us and supported us on this, and to all the bands we played with but most of all to Dani from Revenge Prod. Who made this possible after all the years of nagging us to come over! PROST!!!
