Speaking about the chaos that they caused in the store, Evile guitarist Ol Drake has stated:
"It was killer playing to all those Thrashers in a store setting. People didn't seem to care that they were in a record store. It was just a plain old Metal show. Circle Pits, Moshing, head-banging galore. We Thrashed the shit out of the Verging Megawhores. We want to say a huge cheers to all the people who came down to Thrash with us, and a huge cheers to all at Virgin Megastores Manchester (Arndale) and Lucy Holliday".

INSIGHT INTO WORKING WITH METALLICA PRODUCER FLEMMING RASMUSSEN
With the upcoming release of their debut album 'Enter The Grave' on Monday, Evile have revealed what it was like to work with the legendary Flemming Rasmussen. Evile guitarist Ol Drake has given an insight into their time in the studio and explains the impact that the famed Metallica producer had on them and also the effect that the band had on him:
"We made an old school thrasher feel young again, which to me shows us we're on the right track. If we can add to a Thrasher's collection, we're happy. That's what we want to do, give people some extra thrash action. We're not trying to be the Next Big anything, we just want to Thrash."

Working with such an influential figure within the thrash genre was understandably daunting for the fresh, fast-rising Yorkshire thrashers, but the guitarist admits that it turned out to be a comfortable working environment in the studio, Ol states:
"It was excellent working with Flemming. I admit his involvement with Metallica was slightly daunting but once we were in there he made us feel so at home and relaxed that it didn't matter anymore. He's just a really cool, easy to get along with guy. We couldn't be anymore pleased with how the album's turned out. Flemming's involvement has made it the best it can be. I think an important factor which added to the album's overall sound was the use of no samples on the album. We've always been against this modern, processed, mechanical sound, we wanted it to sound 'live'. Kick drums have balls, and you want to hear and feel ...those......balls. Flemming is the Man!!"

Fans can finally get their hands on this hotly anticipated release in UK/Europe on August 27 and September 25th in USA. View a video of the the band in the studio here. To hear some advance tracks head over to www.myspace.com/evileuk.

EVILE GUITARIST COMMENTS ON POSITIVE 'ENTER THE GRAVE' REVIEWS
With the release of the hotly anticipated thrash offering 'Enter The Grave' only a week away, Evile guitarist Ol Drake has aired his excitement about the positive reviews that have been circulating recently. The album has received an encouraging 10/10 and a highly positive 100/100 in online reviews:
Metal Mayhem 10/10:
Metal Revolution 100/100:
Such early praise for their debut has prompted Ol to speak about the hard work that the fast rising Huddersfield thrashers have put into achieving such success with their debut:
"The reviews we've got through so far really make us proud of the amount of work we put into making this album what it is. In a way it feels to have 'paid off' if someone enjoys it in the ways the recent reviewers enjoyed it"
Ol admits that the process was not always a harmonious experience and reveals that:
"It shows that hard work really gets results. We put in as much time as we could on each song to get it as perfect as we could in our ears. I think the fact that we argue over writing gets results.
If one person wasn't happy with what we were doing we'd work on it until all 4 of us were happy. I think that gives us a good sound, with all 4 of us putting hard work in. Some bands work better with one master-mind, we don't".
It appears that working with such precision and intensity alongside the legendary producer Flemming Rasmussen (Metallica) has helped to catapult Evile to the front of the new breed of thrash metal. UK and European fans only have 7 days to judge for themselves- 'Enter The Grave' is released by Earache Records on August 27th, (Sept 25th in USA) to pre-order the album click here, all pre-orders will receive an exclusive Evile red 7inch including 2 non album tracks.

EVILE WRAP UP SEVERE TORTURE TOUR AND GEAR UP TO RECORD EARACHE DEBUT
Riding the thrash lightning to stardom, EVILE have recently wrapped up an extensive UK tour with death metallers SEVERE TORTURE and DESECRATION.
Recounting their tour experience on a recent MySpace blog EVILE declared, “Overall we had a fucking great time. Want to say cheers to Severe Torture and Desecration.” EVILE humorously note a day of the tour where they encounter a coven of “emos,” citing that  “the streets were swarming with people who can only see out of one eye (out of choice). We came upon this take away called "Salt & Pepper," it was also swarming with…..well, Emos.”
Breaking away from the emo nemesis, EVILE wrapped up the tour at The Soundhaus in Glasgow, stirring up the pit and moshing with Dennis of SEVERE TORTURE! Check out more accounts on their MySpace blog at:   http://blog.myspace.com/evileuk
EVILE will be entering the studio in May to record their Earache debut album, "Enter the Grave" at Sweet Silence Studios in Copenhagen with legendary thrash  producer, Flemming Rasmussen. EVILE Interview
How would you best describe your band and where your influences, musically and as people, for anyone who's never heard of Evile?
We're a band who loves listening to and playing Thrash Metal. We all grew up surrounded by music; Metal, Rock etc.
We're all fans of the Thrash from the 80s, but also fans of alot of different kinds of music. Ol brings alot of Death Metal influence in, And we just try to give thrash a "new" sound while staying in the classic Thrash vein.

What do you think gives you the cutting edge above other bands similar to you?
We don't think we have a particularly "cutting edge" above other bands, we've just put alot of work in over the years in terms of gigging and writing. We try to give each song a personality, and alot of the time that's easier to show live.

Whats your feelings on the state of the UK Thrash scene at present? Any good up n comers you wanna namecheck?
Thrash in the UK is thriving, loads of bands coming from every corner of the land. Main names would have to be Pitiful Reign, Mutant and Deadfall.

What do you make of the new Trivium album- like it or hate it? Its pretty thrash wouldn't you agree?
First off we'd like to say respect to them for how well they've done and are doing, but we can't say we're fans of the band. It has elements of Thrash, but we wouldn't label it "Thrash" as we know it to be.

How do you feel about being signed to Earache?
It's proper Bo. We feel honored to be on the same label as the legends on the Earache roster!

Now that you are signed, what are your aspirations for the future?
Our main aims are to gig as much as possible and thrash people's faces off.

What can we expect from your first release?
Thrash Fucking Metal

Finally, the Top 5 albums of all time from each of you?

Matt:
Metallica - ...And Justice For All
Metallica - Master of Puppets
Slayer - Seasons in the Abyss
Guns 'n' Roses - Use Your Illusion 1&2
Paradise Lost - Draconian Times
