"Well, the filming was done quite fast at a venue located in our hometown. We're thinking of combining it with a story, but that's a matter of money, so I can't say anything, though the video will be cool. A lot of head banging and some blood, hehe!"

BLOOD RED THRONE announce New Album 'Come Death'
Norwegian death metallers BLOOD RED THRONE have set "Come Death" as the title of their new album, due later in the year via Earache Records. The CD was recorded at Dub Studios in Norway and was mixed by Valle Adzic.
Mastering duties were handled by Dragan T. According to a press release, the album contains nine songs of BLOOD RED THRONE's unique blend of groovy, aggressive and technical death metal. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Come Death", "Taste of God", "Rebirth in Blood", "Slaying the Lamb" and "Deranged Assassin".

BLOOD RED THRONE's fourth studio album will be the group's first to feature new members Anders Haave (drums) and Vald (vocals).

"This time, we aim for a more classic death metal sound, ala GORGUTS 'Considered Dead' / SUFFOCATION 'Despise the Sun' kind of sound," the ban previously said. "We have grown tired with the over-produced and fully triggered drum kits that so many bands use today, besides we have taken slightly new direction with our music and the analog and dynamic sound fits the music better. We have also chosen a different approach to the recording process of the instruments."

BLOOD RED THRONE is in the process of booking gigs in support of the upcoming album, with three festival appearances already confirmed. More information will be made available soon.

Recording completed of forthcoming new album - despite the Blood red curse!
Norwegian Death Metallers BLOOD RED THRONE have completed work on their forth coming new album due to be released on Earache records on June 25th.
Tchort of Blood Red throne states:
"Yet another tough birth is over and the Blood Red Throne crew is proud to announce its newest album is born! People familiar with the band and its
past know the term 'The BRT curse' and it struck us on several occasion this time as well. In the past it broke down our transportation in the middle of
nowhere, killed our vocalist (whom we managed to resurrect with a little love and caring (read: mouth-to-mouth. We wont reveal who was the (un)lucky care taker), a tree that bitchslapped a couple of our members while surfing the roof of the tour bus (while driving) inside the city of London (some might say that it was a light version of the curse as the bridge missed them!), a drummer who had to be replaced as he disappeared while recording the drums for one of our albums (Spinal Tap anyone?) and the story goes on.
However, the fact remains that we are proud of the new album and we are proud to show the capacity of our two new members caught on tape for the first time. This album (more details soon-to-come) represents the essence of Blood Red Throne. Groove, aggression, catchiness, melody and technique. In a perfect BRT blend! We are looking forward to meet all of you on the road again soon!"

Blood Red Throne work on new album
Norwegian death metallers Blood Red Throne have been working in Jailhouse studio for the last 2 days on a pre production for the new album.
70% of the material is written and the band started pre production to test both the studio and the two new members, Anders Haave (drums) and Vald (vocals). 4 songs have been recorded so far and the band is extremely pleased with both the material and the sound. "This time, we aim for a more classic Death Metal sound, ala Gorguts "Considered Dead" / Suffocation "Despise the Sun" kind of sound. We have grown tired with the over-produced and fully triggered drum kits that so many bands use today, besides we have taken a slightly new direction with our music and the analog and dynamic sound fits the music better. We have also chosen a different approach to the recording process of the instruments. We are very pleased with the outcome of the 4 songs and cant wait till the actual album recording starts, hopefully sometime in December". Some working titles of the forthcoming songs: "Rebirth in Blood", "Come Death" and "No New beginning"

BLOOD RED THRONE FERVENTLY WORK TO COMPLETE THEIR NEW ALBUM - FEATURING NEW VOCALIST VALD AND DRUMMER, ANDERS HAAVE
Norwegian death metal juggernauts, BLOOD RED THRONE are fervently working to complete laying out material for their assuredly gore laden forthcoming Earache release. BLOOD RED THRONE have welcomed new vocalist Vlad and drummer, Anders Haave, who will be joining BLOOD RED THRONE to record their forthcoming album.
This album will mark the bands’ fourth studio release and is slated for pre-production in late October, with final recording scheduled for December. BLOOD RED THRONE’S latest Earache release, “Altered Genesis” can be found on the Earache US and UK web store and expect a new slaughtering from BLOOD RED THRONE in early 2007!

Lineup shift before European tour
Norway's Death Metal demons Blood Red Throne have had some changes within their ranks recently. New members Vald (vocals) and Anders (drums) will be joining current members Død, Tchort and Erlend for their upcoming European tour with Mortician and Akercocke this coming November.
According to guitarist and founding member Død, former vocalist Mr. Hustler could no longer continue with Blood Red Throne due his occupational commitments. Meanwhile, former drummer Espen "Beist" Antonsen was not available to perform and rehease with the band as often as other members would've liked so the band opted for someone within a closer vicinity to the rest of the members. Død also said that he was excited about taking the new line-up out on the road, stating, "we're ready to kick ass live!"

Norwegian Death Metallers Blood Red Throne have made available an exclusive MP3 from their upcoming 'Altered Genesis' opus due for release on February 21.

RECORDING FINALLY UNDERWAY!
Norwegian Death Metallers Blood Red Throne have finally started work on the new album titled 'Altered Geneis' after a series of drummers failed to deliver the quality the band were looking for.  With original drummer Espen Antonsen fired early on in the original recording, the band had to endure two more failed attempts to get the recording off the ground before finally finding the guy for the job in the form of Bernt A Moen.

Guitarist Tchort comments on the stop/start nature of the project thus far;
"After a turbulent, and in many ways a classical BRT episode, the recording process is now heading forward again. With one drummer put out of 'his misery' and several others biting the dust, the band laid down the drum tracks with the help of Bernt A Moen and are now halfway through recording the guitar tracks.
We had set a high standard for this album, and anyone who couldn't meet that standard, would simply have to go. It wasn't pretty, it wasn't clean and it certainly wasn't going to be about lowering the quality of performance - it was the fucking BRT curse striking again!!"
Blood Red Throne are looking to complete 'Altered Genesis' in readiness for an early 2005 release date.

BLOOD RED THRONE ANNOUNCE RECORDING PLANS...
With the majority of the material completed, mainman Tchort and his sickzoid cohorts are ready to deal death a helping hand once again, with recording sessions scheduled for the end of May in Dub Studios, where the band previously corrupted 'Affilated with the Suffering' and 'Monument of Death'. The mix will be handled at Studio Mega in Sweden, scene of Anata's 'Under A Stone With No Inscription' recordings.
Titles set to make the final cut include 'Flesh To Destroy', 'Eyelicker' and 'State of Darkness'. Tchort had this to say about the way the material is shaping up;

" 'Altered Genesis' is gonna be all that Blood Red Throne is about, but pushed to the extreme. Its faster, more aggressive and heavier than before and we are looking forward to continue the very good harvest Earache had so far this year with Death Metal."
Although no definite date has been set for the release of the album, it seems likely to emerge in September, with the band touring at the end of the year in support of what is sure to be a deviant slice of Death Metal.

EARACHE SIGN BLOOD RED THRONE
Earache is proud to announce the signing of Norwegian Death Metal murderers BLOOD RED THRONE to a worldwide multi-album deal.
Since forming in 1998, the band has unleashed a series of gruesomely precise Death Metal releases, most recently the acclaimed 'Affiliated With the Suffering' record, which has seen them grow steadily in popularity and notoriety.

The brainchild of ex-Emperor bassist Tchort, Blood Red Throne is as fresh as Death Metal has sounded in a long time. With a sonic approach based on the mercilessly churning Death Metal of the early 90's scene, but with the production values firmly rooted in the here and now, Blood Red Throne have become known for executing simple slaughterhouse riffs and barbaric blasts with consumate ease.

Creating memorable Death Metal has become a seemingly lost art - until the emergence of Blood Red Throne.

Earache Label Manager Dan Tobin commented; "Earache and Blood Red Throne is the perfect match; on the one hand is a label committed to extremity in music, on the other is a band who is ravenous for Death Metal and ready for the challenge of taking the sound further. We look forward to releasing the band's brand new material in 2004 and helping them crush as many heads in the process as possible."

Tchort had this to say on the band's new union;

"The guys couldn't be happier about signing to Earache Records at this point. The label's enthusiasm for the band is undeniable and the feeling is mutual, and we're proud to be a part of the rich history Earache has within Extreme Metal, and also to join ranks with some of the most supreme Death Metal acts around. We have started writing for the third album ('Altered Genesis') and the new material sounds excellent so far; prepare for a more intense, brutal and viciously groovy 2004 Death Metal release!"

Look out for further Blood Red Throne news imminently.
